Private: Get the TDD Blog Automatically!

Are you looking for a way to automatically be notified of new TDD blog articles?

For those using a personalized Google homepage (you should check it out if you haven't at google.com/ig) or the Google Reader RSS reader you can now click the "Add to Google" button in the lower right corner of this page. This will walk you through adding our feed to either of those utilities.

For those new to the world of RSS (Really Simple Syndication), it is a technology that allows you to receive news "feeds" from various sources on the Internet. These feeds can be tech related like the TDD Blog or they can be for news, financial, or just for fun reasons as well.

If you Google "RSS reader" you find tons of RSS readers available. The one I have used for my Windows computer is called SharpReader (http://www.sharpreader.net/) and seems to work pretty well. If you choose to use SharpReader you can find out how to add the TDD Blog feed here: http://www.sharpreader.net/faq.html#open as well as how to subscribe so you always get notified when we add a new blog entry.

For the Mac users out there, I must admit I am partial to Appple's Safari browser, which has an RSS reader built into it (OS X 10.4+). There are also stand-alone RSS readers for Mac, but I do not use any of them. If anyone knows of a good one feel free to add a comment to this post.

And last but not least, for the Linux users out there, here is a list of Linux RSS readers: http://www.rss-specifications.com/rss-reader-linux.htm.

So subscribe to our RSS feed and never miss out on one of our tech-related blog entries again!

Thanks for reading!
