I recently had to have a broken part on my vacuum cleaner, which was purchased at a well known national electronics retailer, repaired. When we bought the vacuum cleaner we decided to purchase the extended warranty.
We called the phone number on the warranty card and were told to bring the vacuum in to the store so they could take a look at it to decide how to fix it or replace it.
As we approached the service desk you can imagine my surprise when we were told to…
bring the vacuum cleaner over to the Geek Squad counter. I turned to my wife and said "We're bringing our vacuum cleaner to the same people that would be fixing computers? That's a strange mix."
I have had many people talk to me about the Geek Squad, and ask me if I think they are a good resource for having computers fixed. I have a new answer to that question now… "The fact that the people that fix computers are the same people fixing vacuum cleaners would make me nervous."
If you are having problems with your computer I suggest that you have a professional that specializes in computer troubleshooting or repair examine it… even if that company is not Turcotte Data & Designs.
We may not be able to fix your vacuum, but we can sure fix your computer!
